Michael Carson

Michael Carson is one of Southern California’s top fitness trainers.

His personal and group workouts are praised by both exercise enthusiasts and professionals worldwide. Michael is featured on Carmen Electra’s #1 selling video Fit To Strip—which he also co-hosts and has appeared in on Fit TV, Exercise TV and Body By Jake’s.  He’s also has made multiple TV appearances on News and talk shows such as The Megan Mullalley show, EXTRA, The TV Guide Channel, ABC, CBS and Fox news.

In addition to his DVD work and television guest appearances, Michael has created workouts for a wide array of fitness entities such as: Equinox Fitness, Body by Jake, The Spectrum Clubs, The Sports Club Company, Reebok, Kathy Smith and the YMCA. Michael prides himself on taking an innovative approach to fitness.  His creative teaching style has made him one of LA’s hottest group exercise instructors.

His packed classes have been held at fitness hotspots spots Equinox Fitness, Sports Club LA, Spectrum Clubs Inc., and Gold’s Gym. While consulting for Reebok International, Michael Carson assisted in the launch of the Power Step workout in Los Angeles and has traveled internationally introducing his own workouts and was the group exercise and personal training Director for Kathy Smith’s progressive MEZZEPLEX Fitness Complex in West LA. Michael is UCLA certified, AFFA insured and an avid multi sport athlete.  His love of adrenalin filled activities led him to compete in numerous marathons and triathlons and the 300 hundred mile team competition the Raid Gauloises, and then as a Team Captain for the inaugural Eco-Challenge competitions. Both consisting of endurance rock climbing, ocean kayaking, running, horseback riding, trekking, mountain biking and even camel riding (for the Middle Eastern Race!). Michael Carson is based in Los Angeles and has dedicated his life to fitness.
